SYNOPSIS OF LINDENSTRASSE EPISODE 1229, “THE BATTLE-AXE”
Lisa and Hannelore’s compulsory vacation has now ended. Dr. Tenge-Wegemann, Carsten’s substitute at the practice, assumes duty. “A sergeant”, Lisa enlightens her colleague about their soon-to-be boss, who once already filled in for Carsten two years ago.
As cold as ice, Nastya sends the astonished Enzo packing. Last week, by accident, she found out that Enzo was responsible for reporting her fictitious marriage to Hajo to the authorities. Enzo understands the world no more. After all, they had understood each other so well!
To courage, and to the truth! Since she can no longer sell alcohol in the “Alimentari“, Sabrina treats her son’s boss to a Prosecco for his birthday. The general is quite thrilled by the enchanting Italian woman.
Precisely not! Even though Tanja’s birthday is tomorrow, Suzanne will not make it to Munich. Tanja is terribly disappointed.
Hajo condemns Lisa, who stands behind the report against the “Alimentari“. Lisa unabashedly confesses to giving the Trade Control Bureau the dirt on Sabrina. “From the very beginning Sabrina wanted to spoil business for Murat”, Lisa rails off and even accuses the Italian woman of xenophobia.
He must have screwed something up!? Enzo finds a patient listener in Jack (Jacqueline). He still speculates where he went wrong with respect to Nastya. Suddenly it dawns upon him. “I blew their cover!” Enzo tells Jack about his anonymous report to the authorities.
There’s no use in singing the blues. Tanja accepts the fact that her life-partner will stay in Leipzig over the weekend and celebrates her own birthday with her Munich friends.
Madonna! As Hajo reveals the whistle blower’s identity, Sabrina can’t believe it. She and Murat are quasi neighbors, after all! Murat cannot believe what Lisa did behind his back as well. The deeply disappointed Sabrina demands an apology from Lisa. It is inexplicable to her, how one can be so cunning and dishonest. In the end, Murat takes Lisa’s side and accuses Sabrina’s lunch campaign of being grossly unnecessary.
Cliffhanger: Sabrina is deeply disappointed. What significance does this incident have for the coexistence of the “Alimentari” and “Murat’s Doner”?
Resolution of the Previous Episode: Nastya apparently wants nothing more to do with Enzo.
